Bird Watching
On Bird Island the Birds are hard to miss.
On a casual beach stroll you can spot waders, turnstones, plovers, crested Terns and the ever present Noddy Terns.
Venturing inland you can find Sunbirds, Blue pigeons, doves, Foddies and Maynas eating Papayas.
Find Tropic Birds and Shearwaters in their private corners and burrows around the island.
In the early morning and late afternoon sit quietly on our grass airstrip and watch the arrival and departure of Migrants and Vagrants.
And wherever you are, the Frigate Birds will be soaring overhead.
