Nature Trails & Bird Watching
Nature trails and bird watching come hand in hand on Bird Island. You can’t walk the paths without delving into some birding. Witness the nesting and courting habits of the birds. Spot the baby chicks being fed. Be amazed by the Frigatebirds as they take over the skies.
But it’s not all about the birds. As you head towards the beaches learn about the Hawksbill turtles that visit between October and February and the thousands of hatchlings that race for the sea from December to March.
Share our enthusiasm for our beautiful home by exploring our nature trails and discovering the island’s abundant flora and fauna.
Should you prefer a guided nature walk, just ask our island hosts! They’ll be more than happy to help.
