– Check Out Our New Website! –
We are excited to announce the launch of our new mobile friendly website. Not only do we have a new and fresh look, there is now a whole lot more information about the lodge and the island at your fingertips! As our focus is on nature, conservation and running as an eco-lodge, we’ve made sure to include plenty of information on this. Our new website now also presents you a wider variety of images, as well as apps and video links.
For those who prefer to use their smartphones and tablets, why not whip them out and give it a try!
The website is currently live in English and French on www.birdislandseychelles.com and www.birdislandseychelles.fr
Still to come…
We are continuously making improvements to our website, with a German version coming soon. We are also working on the Bird Island App, which we hope to make available to you this year. Guests will be able to download our app and have the option of using it offline when on the island. The goal of the app is to act as a guide and map of Bird Island.
Calling all nature lovers!
It’s still not too late to catch a glimpse of cute baby Hawksbill turtles making their way out to the sea from the nests still left to hatch.
For bird watchers, a good variety of migrants and vagrants can be seen.
In terms of the weather, it’s that time of the year when the sea is normally calm and clear making for great snorkelling experiences. Make the most of it!
Lodge Remaining Open in June 2016 Bird Island Lodge, which has normally been closed these past few years during the month of June, will be remaining open in June 2016.
